This policy describes what information Ave Molech: Ex Tenebris collects, how it is used, and what choices you have. The short version: we collect as little as possible and never sell it.
Account email address — only if you choose to create an account for cloud saves. Your email is used solely to identify your save data. It is not used for marketing and is not shared with any third party.
Game save data — if you create an account, your save data (character progress, inventory, quest log) is stored on our cloud servers so you can continue across devices. This data contains no personal information beyond what you enter into the game.
Push notification subscription — only if you turn on the daily boss reminder (in the Controls menu; signed-in accounts only). We store a browser push subscription tied to your account so we can send the midnight-UTC reset reminder even when the game is closed. It contains no personal information, is removed when you turn the reminder off or delete your account, and you can revoke notification permission at any time in your browser settings.
Anonymous usage analytics — we use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand how the game is being played (page loads, session counts) and to measure load and render performance. This data is aggregated and contains no personally identifiable information. No cookies are set by analytics. You can opt out by enabling a browser-level "Do Not Track" signal — we honor it.
The game stores save data in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device unless you create an account and enable cloud sync. Clearing your browser data will erase local saves.
Cloud save accounts are managed through Supabase. Supabase is a US-based provider. Account data is stored in their database with row-level security — only you can access your own saves. See Supabase's privacy policy for details on their data handling.
The game is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may log standard web server data (IP address, browser type, referring URL) for security and performance purposes. See Vercel's privacy policy.
The game may display a link to our Ko-fi page for optional tip support. Clicking that link takes you to ko-fi.com, which is an independent platform with its own privacy policy. We do not receive any information about you from Ko-fi unless you choose to leave a message. No payment processing occurs on this site.
Ave Molech: Ex Tenebris is rated for players 16 and older (PEGI 16 / ESRB Teen or Mature). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
You can permanently delete your account and all cloud save data at any time from inside the game: open the inn, go to the Account section, and choose Delete Account. After you confirm, your account and cloud saves are removed immediately and the action cannot be undone. Local saves stored on your own device are kept, so you can keep playing offline. If you have any trouble, you can also contact us at the address below.
If we make material changes to what data we collect or how we use it, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the game after changes constitutes acceptance.
